Skydive for Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough!

The ultimate feeling of excitement, adrenaline and exhilaration can only be found by jumping out of an aircraft at 13,000ft and then free-falling towards the ground at speeds of over 120mph. Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below. Well you can stop imagining because it's real and you can do it with us at one of our next Charity Skydive events on Saturday 9th July 2016 at Sibson Airfield, Peterborough.
Technically the jump is called a 'Tandem Skydive'. It is a Skydive because you will be free-falling through the air (without the parachute deployed) for several thousand feet; it is in Tandem because you will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times throughout the descent (see photo) and you can feel totally relaxed and safe as the instructor will control your landing. This is the only way you can jump from such an altitude without spending thousands of pounds becoming a freefall parachutist. To do this sort of jump is literally the chance of a lifetime and a great incentive to raise money for charity – raise a minimum of £300 and you will jump for free!

- A deposit of £50 will need to be paid when you book
- £150 balance for your skydive to be paid on the day
- A cheque for a minimum of £100, payable to Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, will also be collected on the day
Remember, if you raise a minimum of £300, your Skydive can be FREE! The £200 that you pay for your Skydive can be covered through the sponsorship money you raise.
Once you have booked your place and paid your deposit, please let us know and we can then provide a hard-copy sponsorship form and provide guidance on setting up a JustGiving page, which will appear on our 'Team JustGiving' page.
