Great Eastern Run - 9th October 2016
Safe Local Trades are delighted to be organising a team event for the Great Eastern Run (and 5k Fun Run) for the 8th consecutive year, on behalf of Age UK Peterborough. The photo above shows some of our runners from a previous Great Eastern Run event, which includes David Bache (Chief Executive of Age UK Peterborough) in the front row. The 2016 event takes place on Sunday 9th October, starting at the Embankment, Peterborough.
We need as many runners as possible so please get involved and help raise some money for this very worthy local cause.

No one should have no one
Millions of older people in the UK are facing the ups and downs of life almost entirely alone. They have no one to turn to for
the support that can make all the difference when times are tough. Equally, they often have no one with whom they can share the good things that make life really worth living.
Through the event below, Age UK Peterborough are hoping to raise much needed funds to reach more people with more services and support LOCALLY - and you can help!

Once registration is open, the following will apply:-
- Go to http://www.perkinsgreateasternrun.co.uk/ to register (click on the 'ENTER NOW' icon on the top-right of the homepage).
- Select either the 'Half Marathon Unaffiliated' or 'Fun Run Adult' (only select the Half Marathon Afflliated if you are affiliated to a running club).
- Once registered, let us know by clicking on contact us so that we can include you as part of our 2015 team! A hard-copy sponsorship form will then be emailed to you.
