As I am currently overseas, I greatly appreciated Bob's excellent communication, punctuality and being kept up to date on the work in progress through photographs. I would definitely recommend him.

Friendly, helpful, excellent tradesman. Clean and tidy. Work carried out to a high standard.

Bob was very efficient, punctual and did a fantastic job of fixing the door.

I wish to modify my rating of Bob Manku as I felt a little rushed and slightly intimidated having to write a review with the tradesman looking over my shoulder. I am not used to doing reviews this way. I like time to collect my thoughts after the event.

When I stand back and look at my new garage side door I think it looks really great, it fits well and has a key lock and a glass window which I asked for and like.

What I am unhappy about is to have such a nice looking door put in my dreadful rotting wooden door frame. The door frame is really on its last legs and needs replacing. I'm sure this was part of my original conversation with Bob Manku. 

I had quite a bit of sweeping up in my garage to do, also my old door to get rid of. I am aware this normally has to be paid for by someone. Unless I can power saw it up and take it down the tip in a small hatchback, fortunately I am able to do so. 

£310 for half a days work does now feel a lot for what felt like, what was done was done well but it felt very rushed and excellent work fitted onto my dreadful door frame. I mentioned the door frame before a price was discussed, I also didn't like being made to feel I was a nuisance whatever the rush was.

Thank you for your feedback and I am delighted to hear that you are happy with your new door. In terms of the frame, we did discuss the replacement of this originally but, as the frame was solid enough to support the door, I believe the extra expense was declined.

As I don't have a waste carriers licence, I would have been happy to cut the door up into smaller pieces for you to make it easier to dispose of, however, I thought you might have wanted to reuse it e.g., you mentioned the glass could have been used to replace some glass in your greenhouse.

Although the job took half a day, the accepted quote for £310 included the new door and all materials.

Please accept my sincere apologies if you felt that I was rushing. There was a downpour due at any minute and my power tools were in the open. I wanted to get the job completed before the rain started so it was a bit of a race against time.
