David researched efficiently and found a replacement key at a reasonable price. He was punctual and well organised and re-programmed the new key in minutes.

I first contacted Dave because my old up and over garage door came off it's runner and it needed fixing. I googled garage door repairs and after a couple of multi nationals wanted stupid money just to come and look,  I tried Dave's number.

What a nice bloke, he was on another job not too far from me and said he would pop round when he was finished. Good to his word he turned up a little while later and fixed my door in about 10 minutes. I asked him for a quote for a new door and he said he would email to me later which he duly did. I asked how much for fixing the old door and he said £20, I was embarrassed because I  had no cash on me he said don't worry if you have the new door I'll wave the £20, if not I'll send an invoice. What a nice genuine trusting bloke. I was pleasantly surprised by the quote for the new door and didn't hesitate to give him the go ahead.

On the fitting day he was on time, great workmanship and very tidy. Dave is old school and takes pride in his work, if you want any of his services don't bother looking anywhere else. I don't normally do reviews but this guy is exceptional and thoroughly deserves the highest praise for an excellent job professionally done.

Arrived when agreed, took the length of time Dave said it would, all fitted and everything tidy and as it was before, things were changed, would say the door is actually working smoother and better than it ever has!

Was a refreshing change to deal with someone old school, who knows their trade, put you under no pressure to use, price quoted (take it or leave it, not a todays price is X but tomorrow it will be something else like some companies).  Contacted Dave because of other recommendations I had read and they were right!  Couldn't be more satisfied, will definitely use again in the future and would recommend 100%.

Dave was very kind to drop by on the same day especially with everything going on with COVID to solve the issue. He tried everything until the issue was fixed and was advising me through the process also to avoid the same issue again!

Contacted Dave and within the hour he arrived at our premises to access the situation. Explained two options that were available to us. We decided on a new garage door and within a few days new door was fitted for us.

Dave from Garage Door & Shutter Services just fixed a problem with a roller shutter electric garage door for one of our tenants at minimal cost and within an hour of me calling him. A brilliant ***** five star service.

After using the services of another company, we were left with an unusable garage door (this after the so called repair following an initial breakdown). We contacted Dave who came out at a time convenient to ourselves. It is very clear he really 'knows his stuff'. Due to the poor fitting of the garage doors undertaken by the other company - the job was not easy. However, Dave identified the issue quickly and went above and beyond to rectify the problem, including additional work to prevent the issues re-occuring. He also offered to support us in any other follow up with the manufacturers if needed.
