Reviews of Old Court Electrical

As per my comments in my last review (May 2019), here we are once again, inviting back this team for further electrical work the fact that we’ve invited them back for further work should clearly speak for itself!

Once again, from the off, David, Aaron and Robin exuded total courtesy, professionalism and politeness throughout the job and, although I appreciated their doing so, I made it clear from the off that they were to do-away with the formalities and dispense with the ‘Mr……’ every time we spoke…first-name-terms was absolutely fine!

After prior conversations were had regarding the options available, we decided to go for the wiring hidden within the wall cavity – when you consider this also necessitated one of the guys working in very cramped conditions within the loft area for a couple of hours or so, not a pleasant part of the job but, a job well done nonetheless – credit to Robin!

Aaron was the young chap who is heading towards the end of his apprenticeship although, given the breadth of his knowledge and clear skills already with the installation work he was involved with, you’d never know, clearly a very focussed individual, as they all are!

These guys:

*always had time to answer any questions we had

*always explained what they were doing and why

*discussed first any slight alterations that may have been needed, to ensure we were happy with all options that may have then been presented

*turned up bang on time on the day

*never wore footwear on carpeted areas

*went to great pains to clear up both within the house and the patio area once done (even washed the area down outside to clear away brick dust)

*provided a very comprehensive and detailed initial quote

*provided a subsequent full report, certification and final bill (as originally quoted, no surprises!)

*were a pleasure to have do the work….and after also explaining that we, earlier that same week, had started experiencing  a ‘tripping out’ of an RCD when the cooker was in use, they had no hesitation in diagnosing that problem too – a faulty oven element!

Suffice it to say, you will have to go a very, very long way to find a more trustworthy team of electricians whose primary goal is to achieve customer satisfaction – I will never use anyone else in the future and simply cannot recommend this guy’s enough…..David, you should be rightly proud of your business and your team!

First class service from the first initial contact to completion of the work. Excellent detailed advice, which was clearly explained. Efficient team that carried out the work, always keeping me informed and updated. Very clean and tidy, and produced great workmanship. 

Both work and tradesmen were thorough, professional, on time and courteous. Follow up on paper and in person likewise. Will use them again. 

Work was planned and executed very well. When final testing was carried out, unexpected faults in existing wiring (dating from the 1970's) and a faulty RCD were efficiently traced and rectified for a very reasonable additional cost. I was very pleased with the way the electricians worked and was very happy with the bill.

From first call to finished job, efficient, clean considerate. The electrician was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend. 

Had a major overhaul of our house electrics in readiness for an upgraded heating installation. 

How would I describe Old Court Electrical? Supremely professional, courteous, polite and knowledgeable! 

Our work was done over 4 days in total, and they turned up exactly at the times they said they would...even leaving (without us asking them) their footwear outside on the doorstep! 

They had all the time that was needed and no matter how many times we asked, to explain exactly what they were doing and why, leaving us in no doubt about the reason things were being done. 

A very professional service all round including a full and comprehensive report for both before and after the works. 

Given the extent of what we had done, including a full upgrade of two fuse boards, this also ended up with a full certification of work done too. 

We cannot recommend these guys enough and, will go nowhere else now when any further electrical work needs doing in the future! 

Each and every one of these guys are a credit both to their industry and, their company, Old Court Electrical!!

I contacted David about various electrical issues and he advised the best way forward so, on this occasion, I arranged for light switches to be replaced throughout the house. David’s team were excellent and totally professional. All work was carried out to a very high standard and I shall definitely be using them again for my other electrical requirements.

In my opinion the reliability and honesty of this company is second to none. Both David and Lee have proved on more than one occasion that they are dedicated to customer satisfaction and will go the extra mile to make sure that work is carried out to a high standard. Communication with the client is constant enabling you to plan ahead any other contractors required to complete the overall works that you are managing.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring electrical work either in a domestic or commercial situation.
