Efficient and capable.

I called Safe Local Trades this afternoon as I needed a broken side gate removed as it was no longer needed. As it was hanging off the hinges, when it is windy it would move around and bang against the wall. 

Bob Manku was recommended to me so I gave him a call. He was in the area and attended very quickly and had the gate removed in no time and he refused to charge me.

He is such a lovely friendly man, very kind and considerate. 

My husband was excellent at DIY but, since his death, I was anxious to try and find someone trustworthy to do jobs for me - I am so grateful that I have now found Bob and have also found Safe Local Trades. I feel as though my prayers have been answered.

Bob responded very promptly to my enquiry and within 24 hours, the job was completed to my satisfaction.

A closeable vent cover was fitted which has stopped the draught but will allow it to be opened in the summer to let some fresh air in.

Bob did a very efficient and tidy job and wiped all the area down afterwards.

We discussed a few more jobs that I needed to be done - one involved concrete so he will come back in the new year to carry them out.

We really cannot give enough praise for the way Bob carried out this job. He's polite, punctual, reliable, meticulous and efficient. He obviously takes great pride in his work and we were delighted with the results. The cost was more than reasonable too.

Bob is a fantastic guy. We had some very nasty creaking floorboards in the upstairs landing leading to bedrooms and bathroom. He arrived on time and took up the carpet and noticed when the previous owner had the hot water tank removed from the airing cupboard, they took away the pipes but didn't screw down the floorboards before replacing them and the carpet. He took up the carpet, and the creaking floorboards, and screwed them back into position, put the carpet down and voila, no more creaking floor any more!

What a fantastic job he did, and his charge was very reasonable too. Would definitely use again.

Bob was friendly with good communication and listening skills to find out precisely what I needed. Bob showed photos in areas I was unable to, so I could see the issues, and then photos after the repairs.

The quality of the completed work was excellent and exactly what I wanted. Both Bob and the people who worked with him were friendly, polite and professional.

I am eagerly having friends around to show how good my home is looking now.  Just had a friend come around and she was impressed with the quality of work and wished she had BS Builders when she had work done on her home.
