Summary:
The connection between the house and the garage was where there was a problem, everytime it would rain the fuse would blow. I contacted Old Court Electrical and spoke to Dave, the time that Dave was due to come out to see the job had to be changed due to my commitments, which was no problem to him. He turned up at the given time (late evening), I thought he would just give a qoute and that would be that, by seaching he found what and where the problem was (ie the cable in the ground beween house and garage) and corrected the connections that were made by the builders and made everything safe (which so called sparkies could not find before).
Comments:
The time that Dave finished was late, I found that he did not rush the job and double checked everything, the site was left clean and tidy. I will be calling on Dave again for other work.
I would like to add that I do not know, or have known anyone from from this company before contacting them though Safe Local Trades.

Lee from Old Court Electrical was fantastic. He arrived promptly and diagnosed that the problem was water in the socket used for a pump in the yard that was on the same circuit as the garage door. He was efficient and thorough and sorted the problem at a very reasonable rate.
