Chris's workmanship and professionalism is fantastic. He explained everything that he was going to be doing and just got on with the job in hand. Very reliable, completely trustworthy, very professional and personable. So very satisfied with his work.

A few years ago we had the entire downstairs of our house revamped; garage conversion, extension, etc., this included new windows and patio doors and, even though our existing front and back door had gold furniture, we opted for chrome handles for everything else with a view to getting new chrome for the current doors.

However, the letterbox was changed to chrome but it transpired that I was unable to get a chrome door handle as they had stopped making that particular one. I enquired again about a year ago and was again told that the only handle that would fit was a gold or white one and that ALL suppliers had confirmed this. The only option was to get the existing one dipped in silver.

Having recently discussed this with Chris, he said he would try. He came to measure up and within a week rang to confirm (to my delight!) that he had managed to source one that would fit. 

He arrived promptly this morning and went to work immediately and within 10 minutes I FINALLY had a shiny new chrome front door handle to match everything else. I have now instructed him to also do the back door.

Thank you Chris for your tenacity with this and for proving all the others wrong.

The problem was a snapped control spring on a tilt and slide patio door - simply wind on to the spindle (the instructions said "fiddly"). After an hour of cursing and swearing I gave up and called in the expert. Chris arrived spot on the promised time and he had it fixed second attempt ... much to my relief. Punctual, friendly and efficient service, will definitely be using his services later in the year to replace some failed window units.
