Crescent Carpentry & Building have worked wonders installing our new kitchen. Nigel and his team have done an excellent job, from installing the cabinets along with new flooring, electrical and tiling work. He listened to what we wanted, advised and got on with the job. The work was clean and tidy and each evening on leaving, the area was cleared.  

Crescent Carpentry & Building carried out all aspects of the work. All the team also arrived when the said they would. To say we are Over The Moon is an understatment. We’d have no hesitation in recommending.

Without doubt, Nigel deserves every single 10/10 that is listed here and is by far the best tradesmen I have ever met.

From choosing the wardrobe doors, through to full installation (complete with shelves, hanging space, drawers, etc) he was punctual, polite, efficient, tidy and completed the job to the highest standard.

He is honest and 100% trustworthy and passes on his savings with the supplier to the customer.

In addition to the above, what stands out the most is that Nigel is genuinely one of the nicest people you could have in your home. His customer service is exemplary and he goes over and beyond to ensure that his work is perfect and that the customer is 100% happy.

He is a complete credit to Safe Local Trades and consider yourself extremely lucky if you can get him booked in as he does get busy, however, please believe, he is definitely worth waiting for.

Not only is the work completed stunning, but Nigel and the team of co workers feel like family. I have appreciated their friendly banter, but also their respect for our wishes, honouring of our time and space. He has been patient in explanations, and in offering wise counsel all the way. Everything has been done to perfection at the time we were told it would happen. I am beyond satisfied. 

Nigel, Ian and the team have given me the most amazing bathroom. The room has been transformed including the installation of new w.c., sink and bath, shower boards in shower and as splash backs for bath and sink, replastering, redecoration and laid new Amtico flooring.

The finished job is fantasic and I've had so many compliments on the way it now looks.

A HUGE thank you to all! I can't recommend Nigel, Ian, Connor and the team highly enough. They managed the project from start to finish taking into account everything I'd asked for (and more!). They were also extremely patient and understanding of any of my last minute changes. 

I was able to leave the house every morning for work knowing that I could completely trust you all. 

I was expecting to come home every day to complete chaos but the team worked so tidily, there wasn't anything for me to do and I was still able to use the main facilities in the kitchen. 

We're completely in love with our new kitchen! It was an absolute please having you here, there's no one else I will call on now I've found you!

Nigel's work, with his son, Conner, was outstanding. Nigel so obviously loved the materials he worked with, especially the wood. He built oak worksurfaces, oiled and sanded them many times until they were as smooth as silk and as shiny as our faces have been during this summer of 2018!  Nigel was creative and relished solving the problems that always occur in such a project. For example he adapted a cupboard ingeniously to fit around our boiler and he constructed a cross between a table and an island. All the work, without exception was excellent. Nigel and Conner are totally trustworthy and were always friendly, cheerful and a pleasure to have around even given we had no working kitchen for 2 weeks. Nigel inspired his fellow workmen to give of their best and all treated the work as a service to satisfy our needs, in improving our home. It was not just a job to Nigel and his team. We unreservedly recommend him and his team. Thank you.

Nigel and his team are the real deal and they are seriously good at what they do. Anyone can score maximum points for punctuality and tidiness, but it takes an experienced and professional craftsman to fit kitchen worktops with invisible joins. Furthermore, it takes expert carpentry skills to install wall to wall / ceiling to floor wardrobes and not make the finished article look like an add on to the original room.

Crescent Carpentry came to me as a recommendation and I am delighted to be able to endorse that recommendation. Their rates are extremely competitive and realistic. Nigel made it clear from the start that the quotation would not change and neither would he leave my home until I was satisfied and happy with the work done. That is exactly what happened. Without pressure, time constraints and fuss the guys delivered and always with politeness and good humour.

It has taken me years to find my "Dream Team"; thank you Nigel and the lads. I look forward to seeing you in the autumn when you return to fit my composite front door and internal oak doors.
