My neighbour was in need of a plumber as her toilet had become blocked. I got Paul Smith's number from Safe Local Trades and told discussed the nature of the job and that it was a bit grim as the toilet pan was full and that I had checked the manhole outside and confirmed that it was clear so, as far as I could tell, it was just the toilet u-bend which was blocked.

Paul was still happy to accept the job and said he would be there late afternoon. He arrived on his way home and in a short space of time the work was completed and everything was tidy again.

Paul charged a reasonable amount and the customer was very pleased with the service and quality of the work.

I would highly recommend Paul to anyone and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Paul Smith attended promptly at the agreed time bringing with him the parts needed for the job. He replaced the ballcock and valve very efficiently, replacing the cover and screwing on the panel covering the tank. The whole job took less than 30 minutes.

Very good standard of work completed quickly and efficiently. He tidied up on completion. 

His charges are very reasonable. Paul has done plumbing work for me before and I can recommend him strongly.

Flood in the kitchen due to valve failing at the back of the washing machine when trying to disconnect old machine and install new one. Contacted Paul who was amazing, especially as I was in such a panic and really didn’t know what to do. He arrived quickly and sorted the problem in no time. Paul is excellent! We had three different jobs, done at different times and every time we contacted him he arrives and carries out the work at amazing speed. A couple of jobs were a little tricky but nothing fazes Paul, he just gets on with the job very efficiently. Paul is very knowledgeable and carries out the work very professionally.
