First Michael came to assess the problem with my electric roller door. He was held up at Tallington rail crossing but had the decency to phone me and let me know he was on the way. He consulted with his boss by phone and gave me two different quotes for two ways of fixing the problem. I accepted a quote and the replacement part was ordered on a Friday. He returned the following Tuesday to fit the new bit, adjust the remote fobs and reassemble everything.
Michael was a competent and friendly young man. He knew who to ring for technical information which was needed to ensure the remote fobs would work with the new electric board. He cleared up after he finished.
I was very satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend.

Mark provided pricing, workmanship and a service that was simply perfect in my book (and I am extremely fussy).
He already knew the price we had been quoted for by another supplier and we were happy with and what it was for, and he stripped it down to exactly what was needed, showed us why most of the cost was around the work, and that very few parts were required, and after he'd requoted, saved us over 50%. He didn't work off the quote we'd be given by another supplier and was almost as happy as us to be able to save us money.
I can't rate him highly enough, and if he wants any clients for a personal recommendation, I would happily provide it.

I am very impressed with the service received. I telephoned on Friday and explained the fault. Ridgeway phoned back the same day to say part had just arrived. Came prompt at 12 next day (Saturday) as arranged. Repaired and was away within the half hour, even though it was pouring with rain at the time. Would recommend to my friends and relatives.

Just my luck - the old door wire snapped just before the Jubilee holiday! So, I checked the Net and emailed Ridgeway with what I had in mind. I received a prompt response with an indication of the price for a motorised roller, but was also offered the option of a repair price. The surveyor came out soon after and gave me an exact price, which was the price I was charged and it included VAT.
The door had to be ordered from Germany, but as soon as it arrived, Ridgeway rang to arrange a date and even accommodated the fact that I had to be out early that morning. Despite the fact that my garage isn't actually quite straight, the fitters solved that problem and were within the time frame indicated for installation. I have had hours of fun making my neighbour jealous and it has been great not having to get out of the car to open or close the door in the rain. Excellent all round.

We are so pleased with the excellent work recently carried out by this company. We had our aged, damaged garage door replaced and what a difference it has made. Phoned and spoke to Tracey at Ridgeway about the problem on Thursday morning. Booked an appointment for following day around mid to late morning. When my wife came home for lunch that day job had been done. Tracey phoned me later to check everything was ok. Overall, first class service. On that experience, I would recomend Ridgeway to anyone.
